Pride in the CLE® aims to lift up all of our community artists through their performance art. We are excited to begin accepting applications again for Main Stage entertainment as well as our advocates and speakers for our Speak Out Stage. On this page you will find more information of this year's process and all updates pertinent to entertainment at Pride in the CLE® 2023.

General Information

Compensation Policy

Not all performances are paid engagements. The majority of the artists that perform on stage volunteer their time and talents to celebrate with the community and inspire the positive change that Pride represents. Artists will not be compensated unless terms have been agreed upon in a written and signed contract with Pride in the CLE™ by way of LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland.

Speak Out Stage

The Speak Out Stage at Pride in the CLE® has historically been the space where we have a chance to hear from members in the community - activists, organizers, poets and artists alike. The goal of the stage is to get amped up, be moved, or move someone. It is definitely a high energy space, with the goal to captivate and inspire our audience with your passion, in whatever form that takes!

Performance slots are 5 minutes in length, if more time is needed please communicate that within the performance description. If chosen, we will do our best to accommodate. Applicants may be asked to provide a sample of your work. Applications closed April 15th, 2023 and performers will be notified no later than May 5th, 2023. Please note spots are limited and we cannot guarantee all applicants will be selected to perform.
