Alpha-Omega Society

Alpha Omega Society is a grass roots organization based in Northeast Ohio. Our mission is to empower people who identify as crossdressers and transgender people by providing opportunities to meet, learn, and socialize in a personally affirming and safe environment. We openly welcome persons from across the gender spectrum. Spouses, partners and other allies are encouraged to attend and get involved.

Arktos Bears

The Arktos Bears of Northeast Ohio is a group of gay men who share mutual interests in bear-like men, are bear-like men, and/or want to contribute positively to the bear brotherhood and the greater community. The club’s purpose is to provide a social group and to promote friendship among the members.

Asians & Friends Cleveland

Asians & Friends Cleveland promotes Asian culture in a positive, supportive, informative, and fun environment while bridging the gap between various cultures.

Black Space Productions

Black Space Productions seeks to create safe spaces for queer and trans people of color.

Eight Ball Club

The Eight Ball Club is a black and international LGBT group attempting to connect young black LGBT people with older black LGBT people through mentorship and knowledge.


G2H2 (Gay Guys/Girls Happy Hour) is a monthly social event in Cleveland, held the third Friday of every month at various venues. The events provide gay professionals with the chance to meet, network, or just hang out. 


All churches in our Affirming Church Directory™ have confirmed that their congregation, in some form or fashion, is an affirming Christian church.

Gay Fathers and Husbands

Gay Fathers and Husbands Group, Akron, Ohio, is an informal group of gay, bisexual or transgender men who may have had relationships with women.  Some have children, some are still married, some are divorced or separated.  The group meets to offer support to men who are experiencing similar situations.  We are not a religious group (we meet at a church because it’s a convenient meeting space) and we are not a dating group.  Individuals attending the meetings range in age from 18 to 90.  Meetings are small with about 10 to 20 men attending.  Men travel from Akron, Canton, Cleveland, Erie, Medina, Pittsburgh, Youngstown and other locations to attend GFAH meetings.

Thriving Gay Men

Through meditation, positive story-sharing, jokes, potlucks, writing, art, and more, the Thriving Gay Men’s Group is a space to share energy and accomplishments.

TransCleveland Social Group

​A monthly meetup group for trans people in Cleveland. Our meetings are the first Saturday of every month at 7:30-9:00PM. 


TransOhio serves the Ohio transgender and ally communities by providing services, education, support and advocacy which promotes and improves the health, safety and life experience of the Ohio transgender individual and community.

True Selves Gender Identity Support Group

Monthly Chesterland-based peer support meeting for transgender and gender non-binary persons, in particular youth and young adults, their parents, siblings and allies. Counselors and other service providers are also welcome. Facilitated by Natalie Naumann, a respected local transgender woman and community advocate, along with a select support team.

Women's Happy Hour (WH2)

WH2 is Cleveland's finest women's social event.  Join us once a quarter on the fourth Friday of the month at one of Cleveland's chic restaurants for the BEST happy hour in town.  drink specials, entertainment, and much more! 

NE Ohio Women Over FORTY and Their Friends (WOFFs)

WOFFs is an active and supportive social community of lesbians over 40 and their women friends living in Northeast Ohio, including Cleveland, Akron, Medina, Canton and surrounding areas.  WOFFs welcomes  all lesbian women and their friends and truly wishes to develop a diverse community of women.
