Trans* in the CLE: October 14, 2017
The Center is excited to announce that we have partnered with the local trans and gender non-conforming community to present the first ever Trans in the CLE Conference.
Supported by a partnership with Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio, the conference will take place on October 14th from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Cleveland Neighborhood Progress.

This event will bring individuals and organizations from the trans and gender non-conforming community together for connection, resources, and celebration.
The theme of the conference is “Survive2Thrive,” and will feature a variety of sessions and speakers, a resource marketplace for vendors and community partners, and a social mixer for attendees.
Vision: To create a community space for Trans and Gender non-conforming individuals to thrive in all aspects of their lives and connect the Trans* community of Greater Cleveland.

Is there a cost for this event?
No, Trans* in the CLE is a free event.
Are minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, this event is open to people of all ages. Any form of picture ID is welcomed.
Is this conference exclusive to Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming folks?
This space is not an exclusively Trans space but opportunities for spaces that will be specially held for only Trans bodies and Queer Trans BIPOC.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Cleveland Neighborhood Progress is located at 11327 Shaker Blvd #500W, Cleveland, Ohio 44104 and is accessible by Blue/Green/Waterfront RTA rapid line with parking accessible from East Blvd.

Proposals are solicited for 45-minute or 90 minute presentations that are hands on, interactive, creative, dynamic, and feature insights and resources that benefit, educate and support Trans* and GNC community members. The presentation time-frame will include introductions, presentation material, question and answer session, and evaluation. Attendees should leave with specific knowledge and skills about various aspects of the topic and how it relates to their future development. Presentations should provide attendees with educational value and refrain from promoting a specific business, product, or service.
